1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Bonne Pluie, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

Bonne Pluie provides French reading practice — articles adapted to different proficiency levels with vocabulary, grammar, listening, and practice tools — available on the website. Features may change over time, and the service is provided "as is".

3. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to register.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account per person. Accounts must be registered by a real person through the sign-up page — creating accounts in bulk, or using bots or scripts to create or operate accounts, is not permitted.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Gouttes (virtual credits)

Some features — such as adding an article to your library — are exchanged with gouttes, the site's virtual credits. While the service is in testing, gouttes are granted for free to encourage early users. Gouttes are not money, cannot be transferred between users, and have no use outside Bonne Pluie. As the service evolves, we may adjust how gouttes are granted or spent, with notice on the site.

5. Content

Articles and learning aids on Bonne Pluie are produced with the assistance of AI for language-learning purposes, and are provided for personal, non-commercial learning use only.

You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit content from Bonne Pluie without written permission.

6. User conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract content from the site.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service.

7. Intellectual property

The Bonne Pluie name, logo, website design, code, and original written materials are the property of Bonne Pluie. You may not use our branding without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Bonne Pluie is a self-directed learning tool, not a school or a certified language program, and we make no guarantee of learning outcomes. Content may contain errors, including mistakes introduced by AI. The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Bonne Pluie is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you are violating these terms, with or without notice.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.). Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Taipei, Taiwan.
